Does everyone in my group need to have a CourtReserve account?

Yes. We need EVERY person that comes in to use our facility to create an account to sign the liability waiver. Once you sign the waiver, you won’t have to do it again. When prompted to select “membership”, choose the free option “general public”.

What is a DUPR rating and what level should I play at?

We believe competitive play is fun play. We organize our open play sessions and leagues by DUPR ratings to foster a fair and level playing field for each player.

Dynamic Universal Pickleball Rating (DUPR) is a global rating system for pickleball players of all levels.

What is your cancellation/rescheduling policy?

All court/class/clinic reservations must be canceled/rescheduled at least 24 hours in advance to receive a credit to your CourtReserve account.

Open plays must be canceled at least 4 hours in advance to receive a refund. No refunds will go back to the credit card.

Do you have paddle/ball rentals?

Yes. Paddles are for rent for $5/per. Rental paddles come with a ball.

Do you have lockers?

Yes! We have 12 daily use lockers available in the Wellness Area and 32 more near the gym area by court 12. Easily create your own 4-digit code to keep everything secure without having to bring your own lock. Many of our players prefer to use the benches on each court to keep their belongings close by.

What temp do you keep the sauna and cold plunge?

The sauna is kept at 175 degrees and the cold plunge is kept at 45 degrees F. The sauna is HOT and the cold plunge is VERY cold.

What kind of balls should I use at Chip’s?

Our courts are professional outdoor surfaces, so we use outdoor balls. We have yellow Franklin X-40 balls for sale in the lobby for $4. Please use proper non-marking court shoes when playing at Chip’s.

Yes! If you are interested in hosting a private event (groups of 12+), please contact events@chipspickleball.com or call 651-371-2266. Chip’s is the ideal place for a corporate gathering or a pickleball-themed birthday party.
